Our dear weilong has propsed for a JAPANESE SUMMER BEACH CULTURAL EXPERIENCE. Through this, we hope to cultivate outdoor spirit in members, forge rapport between current members and most improtantly, allow you guys to experience summer at the beach, Japanese style. ^-^

Date: 22nd December 2007, Saturday
Time: 11.00am to 7.00pm
Area of operation: Sentosa Palawan Beach
Meeting place: Singapore Polytechnic Foodcourt 5
Place of dismissal: Harbour Front Station

Amount to bring: at least $5
please do note that food and drinks are not included!
there would be an entrance fee of $3 for entering sentosa.

A Talentime contest organised by SP to search for the next Kelly Poon or Taufik.

2. Japanese Classes

Starting on the 22rd of November 2007

3. Windbreaker/Jacket/Blazer etc..

Please submit your designs to the thread on the forum.

We are thinking of making one for all the club members. Cost is unconfirmed yet, as is the design. Take this chance to design something for the club that will stay with us for a very long time.

4. CCA Points

Those who have attended a certain event but have not be accredited with the CCA points, please post here.

5. Last but not least, HAPPY ONE YEAR BIRTHDAY TO SPJCC!!! 10th November 2007, First year, baby cake =D

Hi all, time for the november updates!!

As it is now our MST time, there will be lesser events, but it will pick up soon.

1. Japanese Language Classes are starting soon, meeting on the 9th of November 2007 @ FC5 meeting room. It is on the second floor, same level as our clubhouse, nearest to the female toilet. 6pm start, please don't be late.


2. Chadou performance on the 11th of November 2007, from 10am - 4pm, one of the emcees (English speaking) will be our very own Ming Xuan aka Takumi!! And two performers are from our club too, one being the handsome Ding Zhong!! The other is a secret.. (He doesn't want to be known, until that day)..


3. Our member Shirlyn is one of the finalist of SP STAR, performance to be held on 23rd November 2007, 6pm at SP Convention Centre. Tickets are $2 a pop, but it is well worth it to go support our very own songstress!!

Those who want to make a banner, please state here, so that everyone who can help can come together to design/produce it!! Cheers!!


4. One of our member suggested a trip to Pulau Ubin " to expereince japanese culture through outdoor and wildlife activities". (In quotations are ad verbatim from wei long)

Proposed date : 1st December 2007.
Event pending proposal, safety and security issues, but please do post if your interested.


5. Rui En and Serene has announced that they will be stepping down at the end of November 2007, and from the 1st of December 2007, Edward will be acting Vice President, and Hui Ning will be acting Secretary.

Posts for the next EXCO is still not confirmed and there will be another round of interviews. Updates will be posted here and on the blog in about two weeks.
